Happy first Sunday of August, friends! Seriously, how is it August already?! I see August as a transitionary month: still warm enough for summer-like temps, but cooling down more to remind us that fall is on its way. It’s also the start of football season, which is a favorite in in the Haines house.
Today I’m kicking off a new series, that I plan to post every Sunday, called “Sunday Seven”. I’ll be spreading the love to some of my favorite blog posts and podcasts, as well as products & stores I’m loving. So grab a glass of your favorite beverage and relax while you dive in.
The post Lynzy from Lynzy & Co. wrote about the workout her five-year-old created was so fun. I love how they took to a football field to get a little mama-daughter bonding time in, while also getting in a solid workout. I think she has a little personal trainer in the making 🙂
I’ve been trying to listen to a few podcast episodes on my drive to and from work lately. I have a queue of episodes to listen to, but this week I tuned into an episode of Lauren Conrad’s Asking for a Friend. It was an episode from a couple of weeks ago when she interviewed photographer Valorie Darling. Valorie shares some great tips on being in front of and behind the camera; a must-listen for any mamas planning a fall family photoshoot.
This weekend has been filled with lots of humidity and sun so I was drooling when I came across these waffle cookie ice cream sandwiches.
I received a call from my mom, who was in tears, when she read this post earlier in the week.
My bestie and I have recently started thinking about our daughter’s birthday parties and we’re both loving this theme.
This post on Project Nursery was really inspiring for mamas in all seasons of life.
This new boutique just opened up in town and I’m dying to stop in for some new fall clothes.
I hope you came across something that inspired you today. I’ll be back later in the week with some posts on organizing your kiddos clothes and some yummy recipes for national s’mores day.
